One resignation
A mighty confession………..
Away from all this happenings`apparently in another world'.
A simple service class man getting ready for his office.
Has a meeting tonight, the presentation is ready.
If this goes well could win another project for the company.
His promotion could materialize.
The hike amount shall be utilized well in getting an own house in the metro city.
Till now has been following strict budget just good enough to save him amount that shall be used for the down payment.
Having two school going kids,parents the responsibilities are immense.
Nevertheless life has been stable since he has the dream job.
On the way as he picks his colleague.
The colleague remarks -’hey did you hear the chairman resigned’.
A little surprise may be because of all the past happening something forced him to go ahead with such a step.
Troubled mind reaches office to see a full 2-3 page resignation letter.
Which says more than he could ever imagine or has seen in any movie.
Is this real?Can this be true?Worries start pouring in.
A office which would generally be quiet with people sitting on their machines working,checking,surfing Now is full of discussion-small group ,office -buzzing with just talks.
The general mindset still is hopeful, lingering with one simple question ‘just a managerial change how does it effect us?’
Life goes fine…the meetings the presentations the work.
Everything is normal, how ?why? has nothing happened?
No one knows-work is on,he is working,he is earning.
As far as his world is concerned -things are just fine.
Except the sympathy calls he has started receiving from his relatives but for what?
News channel is full of so many random predictions-how true no one knows.
A month has passed.Yes he got the salary-a sigh of releif.
This phase will pass.
One mail-an urgent meeting.
Agenda to be disclosed during the meeting.
The project is gone.
The work was happening full fledged till today,he was hopefull of gaining yet another one.How can this go? Why?
Someone took the decision to end it,that’s all.
Now what about him?
His loan?
Will his job stay?
What about his family?
Can he get another job?
What will happen next?
Is someone listening?

There is one thing about shilpa's blogs that I have always noticed. i really appreciate the situational prowess of her blogs.. she writes about a situation so effectively that the reader himself becomes a part of the situation.. keep it up..
